We spent another gorgeous day at Bryce Canyon National Park and were fortunate to see this cowboy bringing in the mule string for the canyon rides.
Out at the furthest viewpoint of Bryce, Rainbow Point, you can see for miles and miles. The distant mountains are still snowcapped and as you look down into the canyon, you can see crevaces filled with snow.
We stepped back in time and took the obligatory photo by the park service sign. Laser and Russell have been able to travel with us in the truck since the weather has been cool. By staying at the national forest campground rather than in the national park, they've been able to go on some hikes with us too!
On Saturday night we attended a ranger program on astronomy so that Caleb could complete his junior ranger requirements. Sunday morning we visited the park again for Caleb to officially get his junior ranger badge and patch for Bryce Canyon National Park! Then we drove out to a different section to hike the Mossy Cave trail. There is a spring in the area which feeds the waterfall pictured above. The weather is forecasted to be great for the rest of the day so we're off for more hiking!
