Many snowbirds flock to Arizona in the winter to soak up the low winter sun. But we hunker down and wait for the Spring and Summer to arrive to take advantage of forest camping. There is no doubt that there are opportunities for camping in Arizona during the winter months, yet desert camping is not our preference. Thus the PROJECT... too much time on the internet, not enough time in the forest= a trip to Home Depot for some fiver modifications.
Project #1: Replace the carpeting in the lower, living room area with Trafficmaster Allure resilient flooring. I will post pictures as the project progresses. This will be much better for the dirt tracked in by the dogs and us humans, too!
Project #2: Counter top extension. We would like a drop-down leaf type counter top extension next to the stove/sink area.
Project #3: Replace showerhead with the one from Camping World that injects oxygen into the stream...the Oxygenics showerhead.
Project #4: ?? A little more time and not enough camping will surely put something on the project list. :-)
Have a wonderful 2009!
You are about to travel along with our family, traversing the country and celebrating God's natural wonders! Enjoy!

Prayer request for my dear student
To all my blog readers- I have the most sincere prayer request. One of my students, Mary Stine, is currently at Phoenix Children's Hospital in pediatric ICU. She has been in the hospital about a month now...and the docs said today they are expecting her to be there at least until after Christmas. She has ulcerative colitis, and now a liver disease stemming from the colitis. She is experiencing extreme stomach pain from her bile ducts being constricted.
Please pray for Mary! You can visit her caring bridge site to track her progress and leave her a message of encouragement!
Thank you all!
